For tonight’s Blue and Gold Banquet + Talent show we’re going to do a surprise act for the ward.
Dinner starts at 6:30, Talent show starts a little later 7-7:15 ish. We’ll be the last act so everyone can get there to participate.
Safety in numbers: The whole Elders quorum coming to the stage to do a lip sync. No one has to really know the song, sing or anything embarrassing, unless you want to!

The Act: We need two brethren to be on stage when it starts. (I need volunteers!) Both turned away from the audience but holding the microphones. The first turns around (I’ll see the cue and start the music) and he begins lip-synching to the first line: “You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips”. The second turns around lip-synching to the second line: “And there’s no tenderness like before in your fingertips”. Together they lip-synch to the next two lines: “You’re trying hard not to show it
But baby, baby I know it”. At the Chorus, men start trickling in–just standing up from the tables, in from the side doors, etc. lip-synching along with the group.
Until we’re all up front lip-synching (or singing if you want to) together.
